After 24 hours of travel from Singapore, we made it to our hotel. It is indeed a grand place.

Ohau to Kauai
We are now on the third leg of the journey from Singapore.... A 80 mile commute between the islands. Nice view!
Hello Hawaii
Our flight was a little over 6 hours. We had a good tailwind. We flew right over Kauhai, our final destination.
5 Hours in Tokyo
We have a long layover before our next leg to Honolulu. The next flight is overnight and about 7 hours long. Hopefully, we can get some sleep on this leg.

Morning Rejuvination
Last night my sleep was sound.... so we took another morning walk around the bay. It is already steamy out.
Botanical and Orchid Gardens
We visited the National Botanical and Orchid Gardens in central Singapore. The orchid gardens are the largest in the world and all outside.... unlike most in the US which require controlled environments.

Sleepless in Singapore
Up to now I thought I was adapting to the time change well. It could be a rough day ahead.... since I appear to have had minutes rather than hours of sleep tonight....
Cindy Cries Uncle
We covered a lot of ground today on foot.... Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Harbor, Marina Bay, Chinatown, etc. Apparently Cindy's feet were on fire because she demanded to return to the hotel before dinner was even concluded! Final foot mileage today approached a half marathon.
Top of Singapore
After a sweltering walk around the bay gardens, we headed to the top of the Marina Bay Hotel. A $20 beer (each) allowed us to have a great view of the city.
Partner Visit
This morning we visited our panel fabrication partner. They are currently building a few of our projects.

Merlion Gushing
The iconic symbol of Singapore is the Merlion. When we arrived the statue was all wrapped up being restored. This morning it was unveiled and spouting water.

Local Local
We had dinner at a very local hot pot establishment. Local food in a local neighborhood.... simple and good. MAYBE a bit spicy! Linda was stopped cold after consuming an over-the-top pepper!
Singapore Sling
We wandered into the historic Raffles Hotel for a legendary Singapore Sling. This drink was invented at their Long Bar... an invention the world could of been spared.
Jurong and Tuas
Today Bill Hurder showed us the area where RoviSys expats were housed in Jurong and the industrial sites of our clients in Tuas.

Conrad Centennial Hotel
Breakfast at our hotel is five star. They have an eye for details and the cappuccino was good....no no.... great
Tired in Tokyo
Even the Dreamliner doesn't make 12 hours in the air any shorter. It's 3AM Cleveland time and now off for 7 more hours to Singapore.

Westward Ho
We are now aboard our bird to Tokyo. It is a new machine; the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Cindy likes the accommodations and now wants to be on all of our business trips!
Rocky Mountain High
We successfully completed Leg 1 of our journey. We had a good view of the Rockies landing. Of course, Tom had to have celebration brew from one of our newest RoviSys customers.
Singapore Bound!!!
We are beginning our first leg to Singapore; Cleveland to Denver. Weather looks fine in both locations.
