First Trip to Put-in-Bay

The first trip to PIB wasn't as expected.  The weather never behaved as forecast; sunny, light wind, and in the 60's.  Instead we experienced temperatures in the 40's, intermittent rain, and a spirited ride both ways in a 20-25 kt northeast breeze.  We were one of the few boats at the bay.

Bumboat has Splashed

The Bumboat has been in the water for a few days being commissioned.  Today we are moving the boat from Cleveland to our dock in Vermilion.  It's cold out today with the air and sea temperature in the lower 40's.

Home to Snow

After 32 hours of travel, we arrived home to 8 to 12 inches of snow.  Also, for those of you considering an overnight train ride in Europe.... Don't... It is a brutal experience!

Overnight Train to Paris

We boarded in Milan at 11 PM and should arrive in Paris at 9:30 AM.  The cabins are like being on the boat.  Our two cabins are joined by a connecting door and we have 3 births in each cabin.  Spencer and Johnny could of joined us and it would be really cozy.  The only down side is someone had lots of veggies for dinner and they keep fumigating our tight quarters.

Vitrum Milan

Arrived in Milan this morning as the glass show opened.  Ron and I will spend the next two days at the show with employees and customers.  The girls will have some time to rest and catch up on homework (Victoria).  This is our FeneTech booth shortly after the show began.

Investment

The girls went shopping and dad was soft.

San Gimignano

Today the weather was pleasant as we walked around this Tuscan hill town.  The whole town was picturesque and very mideviel.  The Italian cookies and pizza consumed at the local shops were delightful.  We were going to visit a local winery, but ran out of time.  Not a single drop of rain today!
